Evelyn Johnson
In 1990, she founded “Upholstery Sewing Services” in Cupar, Fife. With Evelyn’s experience and knowledge, the company grew steadily. In 2008, the business moved into purpose-built premises in the centre of Cupar.
Evelyn is now moving toward well-earned retirement and will be handing over the reins to her daughter Jill. She will maintain a consulting role to ensure Upholstery Sewing Services maintain its quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.
Jill Gilmore
โHer education includes a portfolio course in art and design and a Higher National Diploma in textile design. This background means Jill has a keen understanding of how best to work with materials and textiles.
โ12 years ago, Jill joined the family business as a cutter and sewer. She is our go-to for re-covering cushions, and now carries out all the work involved in recovering cushions and all other loose furnishings. Her experience and expertise in materials mean she exceeds customer expectations on her results.
